Thermaltake Level 20 XT E-ATX Cube Chassis Review

A Closer Look – Interior
The side panels are pretty heavy on their own, made from thick tempered glass, that’s hardly surprising. However, with them removed, you have loads of room to easily install your favourite hardware.
The motherboard tray supports mini-ITX all the way up to E-ATX. Of course, anything smaller than ATX is going to look like a drop in the ocean here. Most of the stand-offs are pre-installed, and there’s plenty of cable routing options too, which should speed up the installation process.
A Single Fan?
Stock cooling is very basic, with just a single fan in the rear. Why so few? Well let’s be honest, those who buy a chassis like this likely plan their own cooling configuration and would likely ditch the “free” fans anyway.
There’s a huge opening towards the front, allowing all the room you could desire for radiators, pumps, reservoirs and other hardware.
The radiator support is very impressive too. In the front alone you can fit a 120/140/180/240/280/360mm radiator. There are more options for fans too. The front will take 3 x 120mm, 2 x 140mm or 2 x 200mm fans.
In the base, there are two banks of storage mounts. What’s interesting is the drives are turned 90-degrees so their side on to the chassis. This should make cable routing easy enough, and with support for both 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives, you’ll have plenty of options here.
You can remove the bays completely too, should you want the space for modding or other adjustments, and installing even more radiators and fans.
Removable Tray
The motherboard tray can be removed also, thanks to a simple tool-free installation. This makes it easy to install your motherboard, but also handy for those customising the chassis’ components.
Around the right, the side panel comes away here too, and you’ll find yet another cooling mount. You can fit a 120/140/280/360/420/480mm radiator on both the left and right sides!
The top glass lifts away, and you’ll find a huge mesh dust filter fitted to the underside.
With it removed, you’ll find even MORE radiator and fan mounts. This is where it gets crazy though, as you’ll find two rows here, each with support for 120/140/180/240/280/360/420/480mm radiators. That’s just pure bonkers, that’s a LOT of water cooling. That’s also 8 x 120mm, 6 x 140mm or 2 x 200mm fans up there.
