Thermaltake Release New Toughpower iRGB Plus Titanium ATX 3.0 Power Supplies

Thermaltake has released its new Toughpower iRGB Plus ATX 3.0 PSUs in wattages of 1250 and 1650W and an 80 Plus Titanium rating.

Toughpower iRGB Plus

The Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB Plus ATX 3.0 power supplies are one of the few on the market equipped with RGB lighting which in my opinion is a bit odd seeing as most cases you won’t even see the PSU. The RGB is on the Color Riing Duo 14 RGB fan which supports 16.8 million colours and can be controlled through the TT RGB PLUS app and even Amazon Alexa. Moving to the performance, the PSU is compliant with the ATX 3.0 standard with 12VHPWR connectors and is available in 1250W and 1650W models with an 80-plus Titanium efficiency. The Titanium rating guarantees a high energy efficiency of up to 94% and reaches maximum energy savings thanks to the high quality Japanese 105°C electrolytic capacitors, strict voltage regulation < ±2% and high amperage single +12v Rail. All of these features offer the greatest stability and reliability for your system.

Full Modular Low-Profile Flat Cable

One of the things that bother me with my Corsair PSU is the thick-sleeved cables which are an absolute pain to work with. Luckily, Thermaltake has opted for low-profile flat cables which are fully modular and make cable managing a much easier task and improves upon the airflow in the chassis with less cable clutter.

Digital Control Board

The iRGB Plus is a digital power supply which means it supports high-efficiency switching transistors that perform only necessary steps and waste less energy given off in the form of heat. Digital power supplies enable for smaller and lighter transistors which allow for Thermaltake to create smaller and lighter power supplies which is great for the SFF market.
