Thermaltake has today revealed its new TOUGHFAN Pro 12 and 14, a high-end variant of the TOUGHFAN series.
The TOUGHFAN Pro provide stronger airflow and static pressure against the other models from the TOUGHFAN series and is equipped with specialised fan blades to achieve this. It features 9 extended and widened fan blades which have been crafted from Liquid Crystal Polymer, a material that minimizes vibrations at maximum speeds. The design of the fans also features a tight tip clearance and an improved structure to reduce airflow leakage and strengthen the overall air intake. In terms of performance, these fans are capable of reaching speeds of up to 2000 RPM and can deliver a great amount of airflow 70.8/119.6 with 3.19/3.57mm-H2O of static pressure with the 120mm and 140mm variants respectively. Users can expect a long life span from these fans thanks to the optimized steel motor hub and full copper housing around the bearing. Additionally, the 2nd generation hydraulic bearing incorporates a new shaft design with inside etches for the preservation of lubricant on both sides.
The TOUGHFAN Pro are available with a 5-year warranty, visit thermaltake.com for more information.
