Last week Thermaltake introduced its GR500 Racing Simulator cockpit, a solid piece of kit for the racing sim enthusiast looking to enhance their setup with a full cockpit with a racing seat. Now if you’re looking to take this further away from just your standard monitor setup, you have the choice of using either a VR headset or you can opt for Thermaltake’s new triple racing monitor stand for a true high FOV racing experience.
The Triple Racing Monitor Stand is the perfect companion to the GR500 Racing Sim Cockpit. It allows for users to install up to three 32″ monitors with a total load capacity of up to 20 KG (44lbs) per monitor through the use of supported VESA mounting including 75×75, 100×100, 200×100 and 200×200. The stand offers high flexibility with height adjustments of 920mm/970mm and a 60 degree screen rotation angle which includes the ability to fold it backwards for space saving.
The stand itself is constructed out of powder-coated finish steel and it fits smoothly around the GR500 cockpit with its wide legs with 68.5cm of room between them and a 63.6cm depth. The stand reaches up to 110cm in height and the monitor arms can reach outwards to 183.5cm.
As of writing there is no pricing information on this bit of kit but if we look at similar items on the market, I’d expect something within the £200-300 range. If you would like to learn more, visit thermaltake.com
