Installation and Performance
Installing the Thermaltake Riing Quad fan kit is remarkably straight forward. With the excellently detailed manual and very forgiving hub controller, you’ll have no problem getting these set-up in your system within 5-10 minutes.
Functionality
So, what about that glorious RGB? Well, to say it looks stunning would perhaps be one of my biggest understatements of the month. These fans are amazing and with a variety of control options available, you’re going to have no difficulty setting these up exactly as you want them!
Personally, though, I just want to keep watching those 54 LEDs cycle their 16.8 million color rainbow! – Before we get onto how they look in the ‘real-world’ though, let’s see what kind of software and customization you can do with these!
Thermaltake RGB Plus
Designed to work with Thermaltake’s RGB Plus software, you can configure your Riing Quad fan kit to run and operate in sync with all of your compatible RGB hardware.
Neon Maker
Though the utilization of the Neon Maker software (created by Thermaltake) you have what is perhaps the most advanced RGB customization tool ever created.
You can, quite literally, control what every one of the 54 LEDs does at each moment and through a video editing like timeline, you can create the most elaborate set up to suit practically every need or wish!
Control at The Tip of Your Fingers… or Tongue!
As well as offering you a number of manual control options, it might surprise (if not, amaze) you to learn that the Thermaltake Riing Quad fan kit can be customized via voice control. Specifically compatible with Alexa, you can, quite literally, tell her exactly how you want your PC fans to display.

Thermaltake Riing Quad 12 Fans In Action
So, as part of our review, we set up the fans in what we could call a ‘real-world’ scenario and set the camera to record. As you can see below, the lighting effects look absolutely amazing and (thanks to the help of a little vape smoke) you can see just how well these really move the air.
It should, of course, not go without mention that despite all the aesthetics, these are still system fans and are designed to move air in a firm and controlled manner through your system. As you can see in our little ‘test’, however, not only do they look great, but they provide excellent performance too!
