With the CPU at stock clocks, the Riing does a great job of keeping the CPU cooler nice and chilled, although few coolers struggle with these kind of clocks anyway, but it’s still on par with some pretty expensive coolers.
Putting on the heat with an overclocked CPU, I was expecting the Riing to take a big hit to performance, but for a small cooler, it still did a fantastic job of keeping things cool, even keeping up with the much more expensive Noctua NH-C14S!
With “silent” literally in the name of this cooler, we wouldn’t have expected anything less than whisper quiet performance and thankfully, it did not disappoint.
Even with the heat cranked up, the Riing did a great job and stayed quiet, not as quiet as the Noctua models it was keeping up with in cooling performance, but still impressively quiet overall.
