This isn’t a high-performance cooler and as such massively impressive results shouldn’t be expected. Despite that, the Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Pro still gives a more than respectable performance and even manages to edge out some other very decent (and more expensive) cooling alternatives.

Overclocked

While overclocking, the Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Pro again is hardly a top performer, but similar to under standard operation, it still gives highly respectable results. While this cooler might not be an overclocking powerhouse, it clearly proves that if you want it to work a little, you won’t find it wanting.

Stock Acoustics

While the temperatures were perhaps a little higher than you might like, when it comes to noise levels you can have no complaints with this cooler. As can be seen in the charts this is by far and away one of the quietest coolers we have seen.

Overclocked Acoustics

Even when pushed to the limits in overclocking, the Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Pro is still incredibly quiet. The silent in the name is clearly justified. We can not help but think, however, that it might have been worth trading off a little of that silent performance for maybe a bit more power to the fan to get those temperatures down a little more.
