Thermaltake Riing Trio 12 Premium Fan Kit Review

Installation and Performance
In terms of installation, these fans are no more difficult or easy than most 120mm fans. In other words, fitting them to your system will take no longer than 5 minutes. This is, of course, based on the wiggle room and ease of use your chassis has. Although this kit is primarily a set of case fans, it should be noted that the 120mm design should allow them to be fitted to almost any 120mm compatible device. This should include cooler (particularly AIO cooler) or system.
Out of the box, you will have everything you need to get this attached to your system. As above, this can include as radiator replacements or as an intake or exhaust chassis fans.
These are primarily marketed as replacement radiator fans and we can certainly see the potential in that. However you use them though, they’ll look fantastic!
Alexa
As we mentioned earlier, one of the key features of this fan kit is the ability to link it to your Alexa, from this you can control an amazing amount and in terms of system fans, I’m personally not aware of any other companies who have looked to bring their compatibility to their products.

Thermaltake Software
The RGB lighting effects on the Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 are fantastic. With over 16 million colours available you are not going to struggle to find a pattern that you like. The software to control it is really user-friendly and amazingly easy to navigate. If you, therefore, don’t have an Alexa, you do have a very detailed (but easy to use) software program to fall back on.
