Thermaltake S300 TG Snow Edition Case Review

Complete System

Thermaltake has done a great job with the S300 series. While the case looked great empty, it’s looking even better as I fill it up. Here’s my system before I hooked up any of the PSU cables. You can see that there’s loads of clearance around every piece of hardware, which is fantastic.

Hooking up the cable, I found that the cable runs are nice and short. I didn’t really have any issues. Despite the lack of rubber grommets, I think the cables look very neat and tidy, and the sneaky peak window thing on the PSU shroud is pretty cool too.

The mostly-white with black trim on this case provides a good backdrop for your hardware. The GPU looks really prominent in here, and any RGB is going to light up those white surfaces beautifully, especially in a darker room. The GPU certainly has no issues with space either, with a maximum length of 200mm

Oh yeah, just look at that lovely RGB!

The half-size cut-out PSU shroud still does a great job of keeping those cables nicely hidden.

Plenty of room up here for cooling, that’s for sure, the GPU doesn’t even come close to the front panel.

What would you put in the front, big fans or a big radiator?

With all panels back in place, the Thermaltake S300 TG Snow Edition looks absolutely stunning. I’d want this beast on my desk not under it. Albeit, a strong desk, as this thing is not light!
