Thermaltake Smart M550W Review

A Closer Look – Exterior

The top of the unit is dominated by the 140mm fan and black circular fan grille/vent.

Both sides have a Thermaltake sticker with product branding on, this sticker is reversed on either side depending on your mounting preference.

The base of the PSU has a sticker with all the key product details.

At the cable end we have four modular connectors which are clearly labelled so you know where each connector goes.

At the rear we find a kettle lead input, power switch and some hexagonal mesh for exhaust.

Hardwired to the unit is a 24 pin and 8 pin (4+4) cable.

The modular cables are flat black and provide you with one PCIe 8 pin, one PCIe 6+2 pin, six SATA connectors, four molex and one FDD.
