Thermaltake Are Still Going Big and Bold With 2019 Products

Thermaltake Chassis
The Thermaltake chassis line has become much more refined in the last year or so. Of course, that’s a good thing, and some of the more bulky metal boxes are now replaced with smoother looking aluminium and glass exteriors. Their Level 20 series is looking great as always, in these lovely demo builds. Easily the best chassis TT has ever made to date.
Why So Blue?
This is a prototype of the Level 20 GT TG Edition Full Tower. They’ve done it in Miami blue, and while it’s still the same chassis, they wanted to literally TRY something different.
Is this going to market? Well, TT’s response was something like “We’re joking if you say no, serious if you say yes!” when asked what we think of it.
I think they’re just keen to show that other colours, custom paint jobs and more are possible. Personally, I don’t like the colour, but I love that it’s different. What do you think?
A700
It looks like Thermaltake is pushing their Aluminium series harder this year too. And to that, I say “HURRAY!” because they’re drop-dead gorgeous. Remember the A500? Well, it’s been on a diet of steroids. It’s gotten taller, fatter, and changed its name to the A700. With that, it’s now got support for bigger fans, radiators, and hardware in general. However, it’s still pretty much the same chassis otherwise.
S500
Love the A500 but didn’t like the price of the aluminium and glass construction? Well, now TT are doing a steel version of an aluminium chassis. That’s quite a weird play, but a smart one for consumers. It looks basically identical, but with the A500 costing £240 and this one likely under £150!
A500
That’s the steel version on the left, and the current aluminium edition on the right. Which would you choose?
