Thermaltake SWAFAN GT14 PC Cooling Fans Review
Peter Donnell / 1 year ago
Tired of having to swap out your fans for a different type of fans? I realise that’s likely not a problem for most people, really, but it is for me. I modify my PC builds constantly, I mean, I’m in the business of high-end PC hardware, as well as running my own PC, my kid’s PCs, my partner’s PC, and all of my test benches, I need a fan configuration that’s easily configurable to suit my ever-changing needs. Thankfully, Thermaltake has the solution with its new SWAFAN GT fans. In their stock configuration, they’re fairly similar looking to their flagship TOUGHFAN Pro. However, each fan comes with three blade configurations that can be swapped in and out to change their profile.
Thermaltake SWAFAN GT 14 PC Cooling Fans Review
The SWAFAN GT14 has three types of fan blades, the pre-installed high static pressure fan blade, the high airflow fan blade, and the reverse high airflow fan blade. So there shouldn’t be a scenario they’re not capable of. I love the reverse fan blade too, as often the back of a fan looks a bit… meh, this way you keep the front-facing aesthetic, but it blows backward. Not only that, but being able to pop the blades off, you can littery go wash them in the sink, dry them off, and put them back as good as new. Don’t worry about the lubricant, they even include a tube of that in the box too. They also come with short cables and a set of daisy-chaining cables to help ensure cable runs are as neat as possible.
