Thermaltake TH420 V2 ARGB Sync AIO Cooler

Thermaltake TH420 V2 ARGB Sync AIO Cooler

We’ve all heard the saying “Go big or go home” and if you know one thing about Thermaltake, it’s that they’ve never had to go home. As a brand, they have a bit of a reputation for creating hilariously big PC cases, and when you have big cases, that means you have room for some rather big coolers too. The Thermaltake 420mm TH420 V2 ARGB Sync All-In-One CPU Water Cooler comes with 3 x 140mm fans, making the radiator 420mm inside. That’s obviously massive, and not going to fit in your standard mid-towers. However, a lot of full-towers do come with 420mm radiator support these days, but hey, be sure to measure twice before you order a cooler of this size!

If you have room for 3 x 140mm fans on your PC case, then this radiator should fit. Of course, you need a little more clearance for the tubes too, as the whole unit measures 456mm long; It’s obviously quite heavy too. However, the main benefit of being so large and having larger 140mm fans is that you can move more airflow at lower RPM, which can lead to lower noise levels. Of course, the larger surface area means the cooler can deal with higher TDP processors too, allowing it to meet the demands of flagship processors and overclocking with ease. Surprised they’re not also calling it the THC 420 Blazeit edition, but I guess marketing missed a quirk there, so TH420 will do.
