How Much Does it Cost?

The Thermaltake The Tower 100 Mini PC Case is available for £100-120 on Amazon. I’m not sure why it has two prices on there, but it does seem stock is a little thin, but that’s true of most things these days. The Snow edition that I reviewed today is just another £10 on top of that. Overall though, I think that’s exceptional value for money for such a cool looking PC case.

Overview

I’m not going to beat around the bush here, this is one of my favourite cases, ever. I absolutely hated the last one just because of its size. Actually, I feel that way about a few Thermaltake cases, which I feel are just too big to make any sense from a consumer perspective. Of course, the modders love them, and I get that there IS a market for that, it’s just not for me. This new one, however, ticks all the right boxes for me.

Compact and Spacious

It has a minimal footprint, so if you’re short on space on, around or under your desk, it’s going to bring some advantages there. Of course, you don’t want this hiding under your desk, you want it up on top, proudly on display. Despite the size, it’ll still take a large GPU and a surprisingly large air cooler.

For a display case, it’s a wonderful little jewellery box design that will allow you to flex your hardware easily. Furthermore, it has easily one of the finest PSU shroud and cable routing designs I’ve ever seen. Even with a bog-standard Thermaltake PSU in there, the routing was easy, and it looks like a professional job. I know I am a professional to some extent, but I’ll admit this build didn’t take any skill or much effort to get premium results.

Build Quality

The design is robust; everything feels well made and locks tightly into place. With so many panels, I was worried one or two panel gaps would show or something would rattle, but that really isn’t the case. Plus, you get lots of filters, tool-free screws, and it’s easy to strip down and clean. Overall, I think the Tower 100 is one of the best PC cases on the market today!

If you’re looking for a fresh look in your next PC case, the Tower 100 has a lot to offer. It’s suitable for everything from a modest work PC to a slick modded and liquid-cooled gaming rig. Plus, I think the price is incredible value given the level of features on offer. Highly recommended.
