Thermaltake The Tower 600 Mid Tower Case Review

Complete System

Building a system inside the new The Tower 600 felt pretty familiar to me, I’ve reviewed pretty much all variants of The Tower in recent years, and this one is largely the same, but generally a bit bigger than other models, giving you more room for high-end hardware, more cooling and better cable management.

The case is tall enough to accommodate just about any major graphics card, and while things will likely get tighter with the biggest RTX 4090s, again, there’s enough room to accommodate them anyway, and with the ventilation on the left side, as well as the dust filter, the card is going to get clean air easily.

I like that the PSU is tucked into the bottom of the case, and there’s enough room in the bottom and back of the case to tuck away excess cables, resulting in a very clean build overall.

While I didn’t have a BTF motherboard to hand, the case still supports traditional cable routing methods, and all the cut-outs are in the right places to ensure you have short cable runs that look very neat and tidy. There’s more than enough depth in this case to accommodate many of the largest air coolers on the market, or if you desire, you can tuck up to a 420mm radiator down the right side of the case. Whichever option you opt for, it’s going to look amazing on display through the three tempered glass windows on the front of the case.

With airflow coming into the case on all sides and exhausting out of the top, cooling performance is going to be exceptional. While additional fans can pull more air in, there’s so much ventilation, that the CPU and GPU cooler will be able to pull air into the case quite easily on their own, ventilating out of the top.

With all the panels back in place, the build makes for a fantastic display case. The Tower series has a very unique aesthetic, but as good as it looks like there, there’s another rather interesting trick available.

There’s a horizontal display mount, and while it’s sold separately, it’s not expensive. It does make the case feel even bigger though, and if you haven’t got a very large desk (I do not), it’s far from practical. However, putting this case on its side and at a tilted angle, it makes quite a design statement that I’m sure will appeal to many people.

The kit also comes with a replacement bottom panel, otherwise it would look like this…

Just take the replacement kit, seen below.

Clip it in place, and you get a stunning-looking case from every angle.

It certainly makes quite a statement!
