Thermaltake The Tower 600 Mid Tower Case Review

Thermaltake has had a lot of success with its The Tower series of cases. I’ve already reviewed a few of them, such as The Tower 100 Snow Edition from four years ago, The Tower 200 last year, and The Tower 300 earlier this year, and we loved them all, and it’s clear that many of you did too, so Thermaltake has been pushing to create even better Tower cases ever since the first one. The Tower 600 is one of the bigger models, an ATX case with a classic vertical design and that unique octagonal prism shape that’s come to define the more recent models.

The Tower 600

What makes this case so unique is the way it’s designed to not only support the latest and greatest hardware but also allow you to display it in more unique ways. The case can be stood vertically, laid horizontally, or placed on the optional base stand, making your whole case look like some kind of massive trophy! With support for the latest BTF hidden-connector motherboards, as well as offering more traditional cable routing, it supports up to a 420mm AIO radiator on the right side and a 360mm AIO radiator on the left side. Furthermore, it can accommodate up to thirteen 120mm fans or nine 140mm fans, making it a cooling powerhouse!

Hardware Support and Customisation

The list just goes on from there, with multiple GPU orientations, an optional 3.9″ LCD screen kit, the Chassis Stand Kit, room for massive graphics cards, a large PSU, big CPU air coolers, and much more. The case is also very modder friendly, with a design that allows for complete disassembly of the case, allowing for unique customisations. Overall, there’s more than a little of everything on offer here!

Accessories

The Tower 600 is available in a choice of Black, White, Hydrangea Blue, and Matcha Green, and knowing Thermaltake, more colours will be on the way in the future too. What I think is a first for The Tower series, is the Thermaltake Chassis Stand Kit now comes with colour options too, matching the four colour options for the case. Plus, they’re just £34.99 each making them an affordable option.

The LCD displays are cheaper now too, with an MSRP of £79.99 they’re on sale for £74.99 right now. I think their old model cost around £120, so this is a step in the right direction for consumers.
