How Much Does it Cost?

The Thermaltake Toughliquid 360 Ultra is currently available for purchase in the region of £239.99. So, for as amazing as this AIO liquid cooler is, if there’s a fly in the ointment for those of you perhaps now considering making this your next cooling upgrade, the bottom line is that this isn’t cheap. – Don’t forget though that this is a premium-level product and, on the whole, isn’t particularly being touted towards general gaming consumers.

If you can afford it though, for the performance it provides, it’s hard to think of anything better or stronger than this currently on the market.

Overview

It seems pretty clear that the Thermaltake Toughliquid 360 Ultra has been designed and created with the overclocking and/or enthusiast-level user in mind. It steers away from the (for that specific market) unnecessary thrills of ARGB lighting and instead goes for a sleek and professional aesthetic that should perfectly suit the needs of those consumers.

A particular highlight, however, undoubtedly has to go to that LCD display. While such things are not exactly new in the world of AIO coolers, what Thermaltake provides you with the Toughliquid 360 Ultra is good, solid, and relevant information for high-spec users and if they want to perhaps showcase their design in a more public setting, they always have to option to customise it with their own imagery.

Should I Buy One?

If you’re a general gaming consumer, the answer to this question is probably no. The Thermaltake Toughliquid 360 Ultra is, without a doubt, one of the best AIO cooling solutions currently available, but in terms of affordability, those kinds of users are perhaps best served with something like the Thermaltake Toughliquid 360 ARGB Sync that still offers strong levels of performance (both temperature and acoustic) but is available at a far more affordable £149.99 (check out our review here!).

However, for enthusiast or overclocking users, the Thermaltake Toughliquid 360 Ultra is an absolutely perfect AIO liquid cooler. It’s strong, sleek, professional, and offers amazing levels of functionality to help you monitor practically every important aspect of your system at the glance of an eye rather than through various third-party software applications.

Pros

  • Amazing levels of CPU temperature control
  • Surprisingly quiet levels of acoustic output
  • Sleek and stylish. Well suited to professional system setups
  • Build quality and design is beyond question
  • Very easy to install
  • Excellent levels of functionality
  • TT RGB Plus software (to control the LCD display) is very easy to use
  • Highly suitable for enthusiast or overclocking users

Cons

  • None

Neutral

  • For such a great product, the price probably shuts the door on many consumers. Nice things (and particularly great AIO coolers) cost money though and although this is costly, the performance it offers is worth every penny!
