The OEM for the Thermaltake Toughpower DPS 750W seems to be Sirfa. While other respected power supply reviewers, JonnyGuru and Techpowerup, have commented that the design looks like CWT they both seem to think it is actually Sirfa who make it.
The primary side is provided by a 560uF, 450V and 105 degrees celsius rated hold up capacitor. Hitachi produces this capacitor as denoted by the HU label and blue colour scheme.
The rest of the secondary side capacitors are provided by Nippon Chemi-Con as indicated by their colour scheme. These are also all rated for 105 degrees celsius operation.
There is substantial AC line filtering which runs from the receptacle onto the main PCB where additional filtering components are located.
The provided fan is a high quality Yate Loon unit rated for 2800 RPM and 48.5 dBA. It makes use of a dual ball bearing design and we think this fan is massive overkill for this unit: I doubt it will even exceed 1500RPM, or even 1000 since it is temperature controlled.
