Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 ARGB 750w PSU Review

Efficiency
As this is a gold-rated efficiency power supply, it does have rather high standards to meet in terms of how much power goes in versus how much it actually distributes to the system.
Consistently achieving above 90% efficiency, the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 ARG easily meets that remit and then some. In fact, it’s exceptionally close (practically borderline) to Platinum status. Close… but note quite.
So, in terms of efficiency, this power supply is as good as it says and even better!
PFC (Power Factor Correction)
While the PFC scoring initially starts fairly low at 20% output, this improves massively when asked to work harder. Finishing off at a rating above 0.95 is very good indeed and while not the best, this is more than an acceptable result from our test.
Voltage Regulation
For voltage regulation, you are largely looking for either one of two things. A consistent score and/or one that is reasonably close to the ‘ideal’ output. So how did the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 ARGB do? Well, quite frankly, it puts a huge tick in both boxes.
As you can see from the results below, all power range tests showed very close scorings and one that provides very little deviancy to the ideal result.
