Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 ARGB Power Supply Review

Fan Speed

Although this power supply does have a hybrid fan feature, despite it running for over 20 minutes at 100% load, it didn’t kick in once. We’re not, of course, suggesting that it didn’t work. More that this power supply clearly is well designed to the point that, to a moderate degree, it can run reasonably happily in passive mode.

This is a factor clearly reflective when you switch it off as, while the fan runs, it maintains an overall low speed. Only peaking at around 500RPM, you’re likely never going to notice this running at all! Well, not in terms of noise levels at least.
