Thermaltake make so many different power supplies, that it’s hard to keep track of what is what. However, when it comes to the Toughpower GF3 Snow 1200 Watt, there’s no getting this one mixed up, as in terms of design and specifications, it really stands out from the crowd. Obviously, being part of the “Snow” series, it’s white, and that means it’ll aesthetically match up with the plethora of other Thermaltake Snow series products that they’ve been releasing for many years now, and future ones too. At 1200W it’s a beast when it comes to power delivery too, capable of running any flagship GPU and CPU combination on the market right now. It has a single +12v rail design too, which can deliver a 100A and the full 1200W of power too.
Thermaltake has equipped this power supply with the latest PCIe 5.0 standards and Intel ATX 3.0 specifications, 80 Plus Gold efficiency, all Japanese capacitors, LLC, DC-to-DC topology, and a plethora of safety technologies, which are all obviously fantastic editions. This means it’ll support all the latest hardware, the 12VHPWR 600W connector, and power states for the latest and greatest hardware. Amazing, Thermaltake is offering all this for a very reasonable £159.98 too, so I’m eager to get this one on the test bench and see what it can do!
