Fan Speed

Despite this power supply having a ‘Hybrid’ mode we honestly saw very little difference in it with our testing. While the results were slightly lower than in standard operation, the difference in our testing was barely negligible.

This isn’t, incidentally, a criticism as the speeds up to 60% of load output was a very low (circa) 275rpm. In other words, until the point that you start asking this to work, it barely whispers at you. Even then, 750RPM is hardly lighting fast.

A major key aspect of the noise, however, must be attributed to the excellent Thermaltake ‘Riing’ fan.
