How Much Does It Cost?
The Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 750w power supply retails for a price in the region of £85.
This is a more than reasonable price for a gold-rated power supply. When you consider how well this one has been designed and performs, however, if that doesn’t put the icing on the cake for you, then the RGB lighting should!
Performance
As a gold rated power supply, the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB certainly ticks all of the right boxes. It delivers a high-level of efficiency while also doing so in a very calm and collected manner.
This does, however, sum up our thinking of the Toughpower series as a whole. It performance is all business while the aesthetics add more than a little fun to the mix!
Practicality & Functionality
The Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB has a near bullet-proof design. A factor that is clearly backed up by their huge 10-year warranty.
The design is both innovative and straight forward which shouldn’t provide any difficulty to beginners or experienced hands. The overriding key factor we take away, however, is that this power supply simply feels like it was built to last!
Should I Buy One?
As a gold-rated 750w power, this is exactly the sort of power supply that owners of a gaming PC should be looking for. It’s more than enough power for a strong processor and graphics card combination while allowing plenty of headroom for other components.
Based on the price and performance, it’s hard to fault the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB. It performs excellent and looks great while doing it!
