Ripple

Given the exceptionally impressive PFC score, it’s no surprise to find that the ripple scoring is also impressively low. As you can see from 40%-100% the ripple scores are exceptionally low. When you consider that at full power the highest score allowed is 50, this should put just how good these figures are into context.

Admittedly, the ripple does spike a little at the lower load. That does, however, only really confirm the PFC at 20%. Put simply, this power supply works best when you ask it to work hard. Remember that this is a factor that Thermaltake mentioned on the front of the box, as such we can confirm that this isn’t idle bragging. It’s entirely true!
