Fan Speed

During standard operation, the fan on the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand Series RGB Sync Edition was both very quiet and clearly efficient. Even at full load it only recorded a fan speed of just over 1000rpm. This power supply doesn’t have many problems keeping quiet which is good for an efficient job and, of course, for those who consider noise a factor in their build.

This power supply does have a hybrid mode and as the chart shows it works excellently at keeping the fan speed as low as possible when the system isn’t working too hard. If noise is a factor in your system build, then the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand Series RGB Sync Edition ticks the box for that category even when the fan is asked to perform a bit less obtrusively.
