Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB PLUS 1000w PSU Review

Packaging
Unlike many other Thermaltake products, the ‘Toughpower’ branding tends to steer away from the brighter colours with a much more ‘all business’ style of presentation
The front of the power supply provides you with a good solid level of information. You are given its name, wattage, and all the key features. To top that all off, a nice clear image of the power supply with its RGB lighting in full effect!
In a style that is getting well associated with Thermaltake, rather than cramming the back with useless details, they keep it clear, crisp and to the point. You are given all the key specific details surrounding the product. This, as well as further details on the key features this has to offer. We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again, many companies could learn from Thermaltake and just how good their packaging is!
Accessories
Out of the box, the key accesories you are provided with are somewhat limited. Then again, with this being a power supply you hardly need loads either!
You are provided with a product manual and warranty information inside a nice protective sleeve. In addition, you are also provided with all of the modular cables inside a nice branded canvas bag.
Finally, before getting into the details of the power supply itself, we should note that it is further protected in it’s packaging by a canvas covering. This, as you might expect, carries the Thermaltake branding. It does, however, add a little more protection in the transit before it gets to your PC!
