Thermaltake Toughpower SFX 550W Power Supply Review

Packaging

Thermaltake continues its standard packaging design for its ToughPower series with a predominantly black and silver colouring pattern. The front of the box work gives you a nice view of the power supply as well as clearly highlighting all of its key features.

The rear is absolutely crammed full of technical information and specifications that tell you pretty much everything you could want to know about this power supply. The only thing seemingly missing is dimensions which, given that this is a small form factor design, is perhaps a little surprising. On the whole, however, and not for the first time, Thermaltake has to be commended for its product representation. You get all of the important information, a good look at the power supply, and everything is exceptionally easy on the eye.

Accessories

As this is a power supply you clearly don’t expect much in the way of accessories. With that in mind though, Thermaltake still provides you with a lot of useful stuff. Starting with the more mundane aspects, you’re given a nicely details product manual as well as a booklet detailing your 7-year warranty.

In addition to this, you are also provided with screws to attach the power supply to your case, several zip ties to help you get those modular cables neatly organised, and, as a happy bonus, you are also provided with a conversion plate from SFX to ATX meaning that, in terms of functionality, Thermaltake definitely has you covered here!
