Thermaltake Toughpower SFX 550W Power Supply Review

Ripple

One of the key features listed for the Thermaltake ToughPower SFX 550W is it having a low ripple noise level and, as can be seen in our test scores below, this is definitely proven to be accurate. Although not as low as many of their more standard models (Thermaltake power supplies nearly always provide amazingly low ripple scores), the results are still exceptionally impressive and well within the required EU maximum of 50. Well, as you can see below, this doesn’t even come close to that number!
