Thermaltake unveiled its latest power supplies in the Toughpower DPS G Platinum series and it isn’t the average run-of-the-mill power supply either. It is an 80 Plus Platinum certified and digitally controlled power supply and it comes in three wattage sizes: 850W, 1050W, and 1200W.
The new Toughpower DPS G Platinum Series with the aid of the DPS G Software, DPS G PC APP 2.0, DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0, provides the system with not only clean and stable power, but also three intelligent platforms that allows users to monitor and record the status of power consumption, voltage distribution, and the electricity cost for advance usage. The SPM Platform also helps to save energy, reduce CO2 emission, and in turn protect the environment.
The power supplies are built with a massive single +12V rail, high-quality Japanese capacitors, and has a 140mm ultra quiet fan with smart fan control. It is fully modular, allowing you to connect just the cables you need for a clean and organized system build. It also features all the protections you’ll want such as Over Current, Over Power, Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Over Temperature, and Short-Circuit protection.
It is also a power supply that should last you a long time as it comes with a minimum mean time before failure of 120,000 hours, which equals to 5000 days or almost 14 years. Thermaltake knows they got a great product on their hand and it shows. This is also reflected in the 7-year warranty that the PSUs are backed by.
