The RGB crazy is far from over, and honestly, love it or hate it, it’s a great thing to have. Sure you can set everything to rainbows, but just having any kind of added value and customisation options is no bad thing for the consumer. Thermaltake have now rolled out their next generation of lighting equipped hardware, as well as a massive software update that unifies it all. Of course, you can configure and monitor many other settings from the new software, which is great.
One of the biggest additions is their upgraded mobile app, as you can now quickly configure all your lighting and settings quicker than ever. They also demonstrated a voice control aspect of the app, just call out the colour or effect, and watch the magic happen.
Software and mobile app aside, the hardware looks great. It spans all their cooling products such as fans and CPU cooler, right through to their new RGB mouse mat, and 2018 series peripherals.
What do you think of the RGB hardware? Is it something you’re interested in, or do you prefer to keep all the lights off?
