There’s no shortage of big and expensive PC hardware these days, and we certainly see enough of it come through the office. That being said, sometimes it’s good, and more realistic to look at more affordable products. We don’t all have mega bucks to spend on things like peripherals and PC cases, and not every build needs to be a big investment either. So today, I’m looking at some more cost-effective solutions from Thermaltake, starting with their V150 TG ARGB Breeze, a micro-ATX PC case that offers up a range of nice features of its own. However, I’m also throwing in their Challenger keyboard and mouse set, and one of their funky UX100 CPU cooler too! Getting those TT vibes without breaking the bank, plus, there’s something nice about having some matching branded hardware and peripherals too.
It’s a modest case, and while you can buy the V150 TG without ARGB fans, I think the extra investment for these three 120mm fans with ARGB hardware built-in is good value for money in regards to both style and cooling performance. However, if you already have fans you want to use, of course, opt for the stock one that’s a little bit cheaper. With a mesh front panel, tempered glass side panels and dust filters where they matter, the V150 TG looks like a solid choice for a compact gaming PC build.
A lovely little bundle of a membrane gaming keyboard with multi-zone RGB lighting, paired with a 2400 DPI optical gaming mouse. Nothing crazy, but at the end of the day, they’re superbly affordable too. A keyboard and mouse for just £25 is hard to ignore and great for those building an affordable back-to-school PC in the coming weeks.
If you’re running a low-to-mid-range CPU, you do not need a massive CPU cooler. the Thermaltake UX100 ARGB CPU cooler features a funky 120mm ARGB fan design and should provide a nice upgrade for some of the more basic stock CPU coolers, or an ideal alternative for CPU purchases that do not come with a CPU cooler. Plus, at just £15, it’s one of the best-looking affordable coolers on the market today, and it works with both Intel and AMD hardware.
