Thermaltake V200 RGB Tempered Glass Chassis Review

V200 RGB Tempered Glass

The affordable chassis market was full of plastic chassis, with glossy finishes, acrylic side panel windows, and cheap fans. That’s not even 10 years ago, but more like three years ago. Recently, the competitive market has kicked into high gear, and for around £50-60 you can now get all-steel chassis, tempered glass windows, high-quality fans, RGB lighting, radiator support and more. Of course, the new Thermaltake V200 that we’re reviewing today ticks all those boxes! It sounds fantastic on paper, that’s for sure, but what’s it like in real life? Let’s get in close and take a look!

Features

  • Supports ATX, MicroATX and Mini ITX Motherboards.
  • Front and rear support for radiators up to 280mm (front) and 120mm (rear).
  • ASUS AURA, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock Polychrome support.

It features a durable tempered glass window, clear acrylic front window and a handy PSU cover. This powerhouse little rig also comes fitted with 3 120mm 12V RGB intake fans that are dual-mode controlled either via the I/O port RGB button or the synchronization with enthusiasts’ favourite RGB capable motherboard brands, including Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Biostar, and ASRock.
