Thermaltake V250 TG ARGB PC Case Review

Complete System

Building a system inside the V250 TG ARGB was an absolute breeze. A mid-tower this may be but it’s practically a Tardis on the inside. I fit an E-ATX motherboard in here without any struggle, and there’s still room to spare on all sides. Cable routing was an absolute breeze too, as there are two sets of routing holes, one for ATX, one set for E-ATX as the motherboard lays over the first.

It looks really neat and tidy though, as the cable routing options means that cable runs are kept very short. There was plenty of cables behind the motherboard, and the side panel went on with ease, so there’s plenty of room back there.

Of course, you can cram excess or unused cables under the PSU shroud too. You can mount your PSU inverted and use the bottom dust filter. However, they give you top vents so you can show off an RGB PSU if you really need to. I did, and I must admit it does look pretty cool.

Obviously, you can see those lovely RGB fans in the front panel. They’re hooked up to the built-in PCB to control the colours. You can tap the reset button on the front panel and it’ll cycle through colours and effects. You can also turn them off if you so desire.

There’s no shortage of space here either, with room for a large air cooler. However, you’ve got options to mount more fans in the top panel for improved cooling. Furthermore, you can fit AIO or custom loop liquid cooling radiators in the front, top and rear of the case too.

Overall, I think it looks fantastic. The tempered glass really shows off those lovely RGB fans too. It’s slightly tinted too, so it hides all the boring fittings and cables behind it.

The same with the side panel, albeit it’s very sunny today and the reflection game is strong.
