Thermaltake V250 TG ARGB PC Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?
The Thermaltake V250 TG ARGB Mid-Tower PC Case is available right now from most major retailers. However, I strongly recommend shopping around, as prices are all over the price. It’s about £85 on Amazon, which is actually a decent price. However, it’s only £65 at Scan.
Overview
Thermaltake are on a roll with the mid-budget mid-towers, and the V250 TG ARGB is a prime example of this. It’s nothing too crazy, it doesn’t reinvent the PC case, it doesn’t really innovate at all really. However, what it does do is deliver a clean looking and stylish PC case for an extremely reasonable price. There are plenty of similar cases out there, but this is certainly one of the better looking and most refined out there.
Build Quality
A lot of cases in this price range can be a little flimsy, but I’m not getting that impression here. Well, the right side panel is a bit wobbly when removed, but that’s no big deal. Tempered glass always adds a level of quality, and they’ve fitted three lovely ARGB fans in the front and a black 120mm fan in the rear; all great quality. The addition of dust filters throughout, good cable routing options, a PSU shroud, removable storage bays, and stealth SSD mounts, it’s certainly ticking all of the right boxes.
Should I Buy One?
As I said before, there’s really a lot of competition in this price range and I think just about every major brand has a case that looks broadly similar to what Thermaltake is offering. However, little details like the E-ATX motherboard support, well designed PSU shroud, ample routing space, and the great overall airflow, all add up. It’s also just a little bit cleaner and smoother looking than many of the more aggressive RGB cases on the market, and I like that a lot.
