Thermaltake View 270 TG ARGB Mid Tower PC Case Review

A Closer Look – Exterior

There’s no shortage of mid-tower tempered glass PC cases these days, but first impressions of the new Thermaltake View 270 TG are very good. It has a very clean aesthetic, but again, while it’s not exactly the first case to do so, the dual tempered glass with no pillar does look stunning, and is sure to make this a great case for showing off your hardware.

Obviously, you lose a lot of airflow by putting glass on the front. However, if you look closely, you can see the left and front of the PSU shroud is mesh, allowing you to bring air into the bottom of the case.

Around the back, it is business as usual, with a fairly traditional ATX layout, and room for a 120/140mm fan at the back, and an ATX PSU at the bottom.

The right side panel offers up more airflow too, with a fan/radiator mount parallel to the motherboard helping to compensate for the lack of front panel airflow.

Of course, there’s even more airflow on the top of the case, which can support 3 x 120mm fans, or 2 x 140mm fans, and of course, this includes up to a 360mm radiator.

The I/O panel is on the top right front of the case, with everything nicely spaced out, and there’s a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, as well as two USB 3.0 ports.

There’s plenty more airflow through the bottom of the case, and again, on the sides of the PSU shroud, which will allow airflow to the PSU, but also the bottom fan mounts located on the interior of the case on top of the PSU shroud.
