Thermaltake View 37 RGB Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Complete System

Building a system inside this beast was incredibly easy. There’s so much space to play around with it is almost embarrassing how small the hardware I’ve used looks. A 1070 ti barely spans 50% of the length of the chassis. Of course, longer GPUs will fit with ease. Furthermore, you’ll have absolutely no issues with thick radiators up front, and push-pull fan configurations.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the riser cable to hand to actually power the GPU. However, it’s a shame not to show you how it could look. The vertical mount is awesome, and it allows you to really show off the GPU cooler design.

Riing

Powering up those Riing fans, the interior of the chassis is bathed in warm colour. However, it’s a big case, so RGB lighting lovers will want to throw more light in to fill the available space.

Cable routing is impressive here, with loads of space behind the motherboard for excess. Of course, with the PSU exposed, using custom cables like we did will pay off big time for aesthetics.

The larger grommet for the PSU helps take up a lot of the bulk though, and a little care goes a long way.

Cooling Support

CPU cooler clearance is impressive, with room for a large tower cooler. A 120/140mm AIO cooler will fit in the back with ease too. Of course, full custom-loop setups using the front, bottom, rear, and back mounts, are well catered for too.

Around the back, the included PCIe controller allows for easy configuration of your lighting. Obviously, this will appeal to those who don’t want to use desktop software, but you could use that instead if you desire.

With the window back in place, the View 37 looks unlike anything else I’ve ever reviewed. The aesthetics are stunning, with a huge amount of ambient light able to flood the chassis and show off your hardware.

The black front panel is like a mirror, but with the LED lighting on, the fans glow through the murky black plastic to show off their stunning colours.

RGB

Cycling through the colours, the chassis is easy to customise to your taste. Of course, pictures speak a thousand words when it comes to RGB lighting, so enjoy a bunch of lovely pictures!
