A Closer Look – Interior

The side window is mounted on some sturdy hinges, allowing you to swing it open for quick and easy access. Don’t worry though, if you’re planning on doing more work, you can lift the glass up off of the hinge and put it to one side.

The case is pretty huge, so it’s of little surprise to see a lot of space on the inside. You’ll be able to mount an E-ATX motherboard in here with ease, and there are various cut-outs around the motherboard area for mounting your cooler, cable routing etc.

There’s a LOT of stuff going on down here too. Firstly, there’s a lot of ventilation and a huge dust filter on the bottom of the case. You can mount fans, radiators and more thanks to the multi-purpose mounting design. However, they also include a square mounting plate for pumps, reservoirs and other liquid cooling hardware.

There are two 2.5″ drive mounting plates included too. What’s really cool is that both of them, and the liquid cooling mount, are all movable. Since the base is all slots, everything is easily relocated or even just removed if you don’t need them.

This top plate is really cool though, as it comes ready to support two vertically mounted expansion cards. So you turn the rear slots on their side, then mount your GPUs to these. Of course, you’ll need the riser cables, but they’re not terribly expensive these days.

All of the slots feature reusable metal covers and thumbscrews too, which is always a welcome bonus.

All three fans in this case are Thermaltake’s own ARGB design, so we should get a fantastic lightshow once it’s all powered up.

Towards the front, you can see there are those awesome 200mm fans. However, there’s a mount behind them offering support for 120/140mm hardware installations, be that fans, radiators, or both.

Because you can use the full height of the case, you can get some pretty enormous radiators in here too. Plus, there’s room on the right of the motherboard to mount yet another bank of fans or radiators too.

Want more cooling? Seriously? OK then, you can mount even more up in the top too.

But wait, there’s more. On the right side panel, you’ll find two massive dust filters. They’re both magnetic and both slightly larger than the panel so they don’t fit right, strange.

There’s a massive amount of space behind the motherboard, room enough for a huge PSU, a load of hard drives, and unsurprisingly, a load of cooling hardware. Cable routing shouldn’t be an issue though, there’s a LOT of space here.

Up in the top, there’s a HDD cage offering support for 3.5″ and 2.5″ drives.

A small PCB is pre-installed, hooking up the built-in fans and their RGB tech with a small controller. It’s wired to the reset button too, so you can change the effects and colours from that instead.

Finally, there’s a PSU mount in the base, and as you can see, it’ll mount on its side. There’s an adjustment bracket for larger units too.
