Thermaltake View 51 TG ARGB Full-Tower Case Review

The weather turned on me so I had to bring the build inside. Of course, getting rain in the PSU is not recommended, but alas, the build is done. The Thermaltake View 51 is hilariously spacious, so everything fit with about a mile of extra room to spare. The tinted glass means that your cable routing and other details don’t stick out as much, but any RGB does become to the focus.

Plus, with glass on the top, particularly bright RGB setups will throw out quite a lot of light into the room, so keep that in mind. It does look fantastic having such wide viewing angles though, although you may want to keep a microfiber cloth to hand too.

Up in the front, those two 200mm fans add a lot of airflow to the whole case, but also a lot of colour. Because they’re 200mm, they’re able to run at lower RPM and lower noise, but still keep everything nice and cool.

Plus with the rest button wired to the controller, a tap of the button will let you cycle through the various colours and effetcs.

I used an E-ATX motherboard, yet it looks freaking tiny in here. Of course, all that extra space is great for airflow and even more so for liquid cooling. There’s plenty of room for large radiators

If you like to run thicker tubing in your setups, all that extra depth will come in handy for funky tubing runs. Plus, it’s nice to have all that room for your GPU. I mean, a 1080 Ti looks tiny in here, but for vertical mounting some larger cards like the AORUS EXTREME, it’ll be welcome.

The built-in vertical mount is great, I didn’t have a riser cable to hand though, but if you did want to use it they’re only about £20 each these days. Plus, it’ll support two cards, so you can still be a bit of a showoff.

Air cooling clearly isn’t an issue, as those two 200mm fans deliver serious airflow. Plus, I don’t think there’s an air cooler on the market that wouldn’t fit in here. There’s plenty of clearance on all sides of the motherboard.

Every time I review a huge Thermaltake case, I always put something else in there to fill the void. There’s so much room in ever, even Tiger can jump around without breaking anything.
