Taking the chassis out of the box was no easy task, as it’s incredibly large and heavy due to the sheer volume of glass used in its construction. Of course, that’s a small price to pay for those first looks at this incredible beasts. Of course, I would like to say that I love the immediate aesthetics of the chassis, but I would be lying if I said this case was easy to photograph due to the number of reflections. The left side panel, as with all the glass panels, comes with a mind tint. The tint helps better show off the highlights of your system while helping to hide unsightly things such as cables and screw mounts.
The right side panel is pretty much identical to the left. both panels and mounted on a hinge at the rear and used to aluminium thumb screws to keep it closed. don’t worry about the glass getting in the way while you’re doing your build, as all panels can easily be lifted off and put to one side.
The front of the chassis features a full height glass panel too, with plenty of ventilation around the edges, as well as magnetic dust filters on the interior, to allow for optimal airflow to any front mounted cooling.
At the top of the front panel, you will find four USB inputs, as well as HD audio jacks. As you can see, they’ve been covered with protective rubber inserts, which should prevent any dirt or debris getting wedged in them. there is a small reset button on the left, and a much larger power button mounted on an angle on the top right corner, between two cutaways in the top and front glass panels.
Around the back of the chassis, everything is pretty straightforward with all the usual mounts in the usual places. There are a few small additions, such as routing holes with rubber grommets at the top, a vertical dual-slot PCIe mount, and those lift-off hinge brackets for the side panel windows.
The top panel is also very nicely designed, with another huge piece of glass raised slightly from the body much like the front panel. There’s plenty of ventilation around the glass and again even more magnetic dust filters hidden on the interior to ensure any top mounted fans are radiators get clean airflow throughout.
On the base of the chassis, you’ll find four large and durable feet, each with durable grip coatings. need help provide fantastic amounts of ground clearance, allowing for airflow to any bottom mounted radiators or fans, as well as the PSU air intake. Of course, there’s also another large dust filter; no dust is getting inside the chassis in a hurry.
