The Thermaltake View 71 TG Snow is pretty spacious. There’s room for everything from a mini-ITX to an E-ATX motherboard in here. That extra space is going to pay off for those who want a multi-GPU configuration or any other number of PCIe devices for that matter.
In the front, you’ll find a huge array of fan and radiator mounts with loads of airflow coming from the large gaps around the glass. There’s a big dust filter in there too, of course. However, with 360mm and 420mm radiators or fan configurations supported, you’re hardly short of options here.
There’s a removable/movable HDD setup too. They’ll support 4 x 3.5″ drives tool-free, or 2.5″ SSDs using the included screws. You will have to remove this for front radiator usage, but again, how you configure your build is really up to you. There are more storage bays around the back though.
In the base, all that airflow is going to pay off for the PSU, as well as any lower mounted fans and radiators. Plus, just simple passive cool airflow from the bottom of the case isn’t going to hurt.
Towards the rear, there’s enough room for even the biggest ATX PSUs on the market. No shroud, but there’s loads of cable routing space behind the motherboard, so it shouldn’t be an issue really.
There are eight expansion slots, each fitted with a reusable ventilated metal cover, and a 140mm rear exhaust fan just above those. Nothing crazy, but certainly ticking all the right boxes here. There is a bracket for a vertical GPU mount, but you’ll need to provide your own riser cable to take full advantage of this… I would though, it will look awesome. Finally, up in the top, we have another massive fan and radiator mount. If you choose air or water cooling, you’re going to have a lot of cool options here.
Around the back, there’s enough room to cram every cable you can imagine with ease. There are lots of cable tie-down loops too. Keep in mind, there’s a window on this side too, so keeping things neat and tidy is a must. Fortunately, it looks like Thermaltake has taken that into consideration.
For storage, you’ll find four SSD mounts towards the front of the chassis. Plus an additional two behind the motherboard. That gives us ten drive mounts in total if you count the bays in the front.
