Thermaltake Water 3.0 Pro CPU Cooler Review

The aesthetic of the Thermaltake Water 3.0 is dominated by the black and white 120mm fans. These operate between 1000 and 2000 RPM.
Here we can see the 49mm thickness rad, plus two fans at 25mm thick each making for a total thickness of about 100mm or 10cm.
The bottom features some product serial numbers and Asetek OEM information.
The entire unit features very short tubing but this is fine since you will only be mounting it to the rear 120mm exhaust port in your case.
Nothing “extra” is fitted to the pump, you have a 3 pin power connector and that is it.
The base features a medium quality pre-applied thermal paste. If you are looking for the best performance you might consider getting something better.
The two fans look reasonably nice with a black and white colour scheme but the multi-coloured cabling is a bit of a “turn-off” for me. If you are going to braid the cable then why not braid the whole thing? Doing only half the job shows a lack of attention to detail.
Here you can see all the mounting kit and accessories. The only “extra” accessory that goes above and beyond the standard Asetek mounting parts is the dual 4 pin to single 4 pin PWM connector, which is actually pretty nice being fully braided.
Here you can see an example of how the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Pro should look when installed.
