Stock performance on the Water 3.0 Riing was certainly good and came in at around 1c cooler than the Water 3.0 S, which is about what we expected, making easy work of our processor at idle and load.
Pushing up the heat, and things got even better, with some of our best results to date, and once again about 1c difference from the Water 3.0 S, making the Riing 240 on of the best AIO coolers we’ve ever tested, with no more than 2c between it and many of the other high-end AIOs on our chart.
Stock acoustics were very good, clocking in at 41dBa, and quiet enough to be silent once installed in a good quality chassis.
The noise levels crept up a little while overclocked and under load, but still far from a level that would be bothersome.
