Thortech Thunderbolt 1000W Modular Power Supply Unit Review

As soon as you see the design of this box, you can see it is a primarily targeted at gamers with it’s glossy appearance and flashy design. The box itself looks aggressive and powerful which is designed to reflect these feats of the unit itself.

The front of the box is covered in well designed graphics. It clearly indicates exactly what the unit is, and includes the main features of the PSU- exactly what is needed. I really like the grill effect, it looks quite real!

The rear of the box has been laid out perfectly! For anyone buying a PSU, they want to know how much power it has, what connectors it has, how long the cables are and the 80+ certificate. All this information, as well as lots of other info, is displayed with clarity on the back in an easily understandable format. Rather than cramming a feature list on, they have clearly displayed everything that needs to be seen- +1 from me!
