Thortech Thunderbolt Plus 800W Power Supply Unit Review

In this hot load test we take the PSU out of an ideal scenario and put it in a more realistic one, the PSU has to work in an ambient temperature of around 40oC which is much higher than the temperature of a case. This tests the quality of the unit- temperatures that high are very unforgiving!

Again, some solid results with very little change from what we saw in the cold load test which is excellent news, low quality units often suffer at high temperatures and this clearly isn’t one of them.
