THQ Nordic Releases Gameplay Teaser Video for Biomutant

Fans of THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 have been awaiting for more details about Biomutant for several months now. Half a year ago, a 25-minute gameplay footage was unveiled at PAX 2017. Now a new gameplay teaser footage has been released, updating fans on what the company has been working on.

As expected, it is a quirky action-RPG that is one of the most highly creative in recent memory. First of all, it stars a furry mutant creature which is highly customizable. Combined with melee and weapon-based combat ala Devil May Cry, then its a recipe for a lot of fun. The gorgeous graphics and art direction is a lovely extra cherry on top as well.

What Else Can Fans Expect?

The game will also feature dynamic weather, with the game changing in seasons.

The combat system is also quite flexible, letting users level up and learn new animal kung-fu styles. The weapon crafting system is also equally flexible, with hundreds of thousands of combinations available. Even the story mode is interesting with multiple endings available.

When is it Coming Out?

Considering how complex and ambitious the game is, it comes as no surprise that there is no set release date yet. THQ Nordic aims for a wide release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows eventually. Furthermore, they promise DRM-free versions available on GoG upon release.
