THQ is in the news for good reasons: one of them is the very successful with the Humble THQ Bundle that crossed $4 Million and now THQ are giving away Steam keys for Metro 2033 via FreeMetroGame which went viral amongst PC Gamers and even some hardware enthusiasts, but it didn’t end there, as THQ put up their trailer of their new game that is expected to release coming March 2013.
“Beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro, the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside – and within.
Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface, and hunt amidst the poisoned skies above. But rather than stand united, the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for the ultimate power, a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is stirring that could wipe humanity from the face of the earth forever.
As Artyom, burdened by guilt but driven by hope, you hold the key to our survival – the last light in our darkest hour…”
The trailer looks a little bit depressing, but on the bright side, you’re getting a Metro 2033 key for free, assuming you haven’t got it via THQ’s Humble Bundle. The game will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and the game has ESRB rating of 18+.
