THQ’s financial troubles force them to delay three games

THQ are going through some serious issues at the moment financially, which has forced their hand on the gaming table to delay three of their upcoming games. These games include South Park: The Stick of Truth, Metro: Last Light and Company of Heroes 2.
Metro: Last Light was set for a 2012 release, but the financial troubles have pushed the developer to delay the game until March 2013. The company reported their second quarter report for fiscal year 2013, where their stock prices have taken a battering dropping to just $1.74 per share, a 42% drop.
THQ announced that the recently released Darksiders 2 only sold 1.4 million copies, which was a disappointment. THQ have said they needed to have sold at least 2 million copies to have broken even on the title.
Because of these announcements and problems, THQ have withdrawn their earnings predictions for 2013. So unless these three games are super successful, we could see a very large developer in a very big spot of trouble.
