Details on the next-generation Ryzen Threadripper chips have been revealed with three SKUs.
Details surrounding Ryzen 7000 series Threadripper chips were spotted by harukaze5719 (Via VideoCardz), a reliable source of information for new tech, in a shipping manifest and shows off three Threadripper chips using the SP6 CPU socket. The list includes the 7995WX, 7985WX and 7945WX all featuring a huge 350W TDP which is 70W higher than the 280W of the previous gen. The 7995WX and 7985WX chips are expected to be 64C/128T variants though the specs of the 7945WX chip aren’t currently known though the previous gen used 12C/24T. These chips are codenamed Storm Peak and are expected to debut in late Q3.
