Thrustmaster, in partnership with Sparco is adding a new wheel to their Competition series product line. This time it is a 1:1 replica of the Sparco R383 racing wheel, with a 33cm diameter and covered with black suede. The faceplate and paddle shifters uses black brushed aluminium for that premium feel and look. These shifters are 13cm tall and are 100% metal using tact switches for actuation with a 500,000 life cycle. There are nine action buttons on the face of the wheel, with carbon-style accents to complete the real racing feel. There is also one directional pad with push-button. The Sparco R383 wheel is compatible with the following wheel bases:
The R383 Mod rally wheel is only the second product from Thrustmaster made in partnership with the Sparco. The TS-XW Racer with a Sparco P310 Competition mod wheel was released previously.
Racing wheels do not come cheap, especially officially licensed products. Just the wheel alone costs 199.99 EUR with VAT. The TS-XW Racer Sparco P310 costs 699.99 EUR with VAT.
