Thrustmaster XInput Standard Controller
Thrustmaster is releasing a new controller in the market called GD XID PRO. It is a plug-and-play gamepad utilizing Xinput standard, so users just need to attach the USB cable to a PC and start playing. The GD XID PRO is instantly recognized as an Xbox controller and is compatible with Windows operating systems including Win 7, 8 and 10.
It has two 16-bit high-resolution mini-sticks in positions for easy reach. The left stick is at the top while the right stick is at the bottom closer to the center. These sticks are also rubberized for superior grip. The directional pad is below the left stick and the four button are above the right stick. Furthermore, there are also two long triggers with a curve for a more tactile input.
There are twelve digital buttons in total, giving players plenty of input options. The USB cable also has braiding for extra durability and to withstand typical controller abuse. Just don’t through it on the screen, but the cable itself has anti-fraying terminals so it can resist some pulling.
Pricing and Availability
The Thrustmaster GD XID PRO is also quite affordable at only $24.99 USD. It is now available in most retail stores where you can buy gaming peripherals.
